Source Water Ownership and Supply

Winkler Services sells water to a wide variety of O&G Operators in the Delaware Basin. Winkler owns the water rights under the Roark Ranch and adjacent acreage, (approximately 30,000+ acres in size) directly over the water abundant Monument Draw Trough.

Water Rights

Winkler’s Roark Ranch is situated over the water abundant Monument Draw Trough that has been mapped by USGS, TWDB and others to have over 800 feet of saturated thickness in the area which has supported water production in the range of 600-1,200 gpm.

Water Production

Winkler has completed numerous groundwater wells at the Roark Ranch that produce between 600 and 1,200 gpm each and can provide together over 200,000 bbls/day on a sustained basis. Plans are underway to increase production to at least 300,000 bbls/day.

Water Quality

Winkler water is ideally suited to Oil & Gas Operators. It is a blend of groundwater quality from various sand layers isolated by clay at different depths and is in the range of 2,000-3,000 TDS with iron and boron less than 1 mg/L. More information can be provided upon request.

Water Station

Winkler Services owns and operate a fully automated water station on the north side of HWY 302 approximately 10 miles west of Kermit. The water station is designed to provide a “retail” solution for those who need to buy small water quantities by the truck-load.
